Something to keep you going 🤍 

Over the course of the last couple of years I have been feeling very lost, when that happens I talk to god. I told him I didn’t want to live anymore, he asked why, I said life has been so hard, it’s a never ending battle that I am too tired to keep fighting. I just want a life of love, beauty, ease and grace.

He told me those things are everywhere on earth but the place I am yearning for is heaven and that cannot be found on earth. He said it's a dangerous task to create heaven on earth. Our purpose on earth is to be a visitor, to experience every range of emotion, to try new things, to keep looking at the world through the eyes of a child. God said we will make it home again one day, why rush the process?

I asked him but what about worrying about our value to society, the economy, having a job and all these other factors that make it hard to experience the best things life has to offer.

He told me to find a job that you love that helps other people, to do honest work, because value is not how productive we are or how much money we make. Simply being alive makes us valuable, our families and friends would be stricken with grief if we were gone, by staying we prevent that. We provide value just by being here.
