Dark times calls for bright decorations.
Even though in Canada the weather is frightful, Christmas time is delightful. Everything stringed up with lights, hot chocolate and gingerbread, buying presents for people you love. Need I go on?
This year's theme was a "vintage traditional Christmas."
Without further ado, my 2022 Christmas Decor :)
My dining table is my most favourite place to decorate lately, there's something about a beautiful tablescape that gets me excited for the holidays. All the cookie decorating, Christmas dinners and gingerbread house building makes the dining table a place where everyone comes to gather.
A question I get the most is how I keep the wax from the candles getting everywhere and I am very excited to share that I found some really good dripless candles that have no smoke or smell. The candlesticks can be found here and the candlestick holders can be found here!
Now for everyone's favourite thing to see which is my Christmas tree. I am always changing around the themes and colours every year but have never incorporated any actual colour so I hope we all appreciate the fact that there is red in my home right now.
Here's an overview shot of the dining area and living room.
Next we have our garlands and wreaths; I like to decorate both our stairs, front door and above our couch. The red bows and garlands will be linked below as well as all the other decor will be either below this article or on my shop page under "winter."
Lastly, it would not be a decorating blog post without a nod to the details. Here are my favourite touches and ornaments this year.
Happy Holidays!
Love,
Simran
